Will I be required to visit the University campus itself at any time?

No. Our online programmes are 100% online so all materials will be provided online and there is no requirement to purchase books or to travel to our campus.

Our online programmes will require you to develop your skills as a self-directed independent learner, there are no lectures or tutorial sessions and you are required to work through the learning materials and activities, and where appropriate engage with your fellow students and the online tutor in online discussions.

Currently, there are two Global Online programmes which have formal examinations (i.e. examinations must be held in an exam centre identified by the student and approved by Edinburgh Napier).  These programmes are MSc Construction Project Management and MSc Transport Planning & Engineering. Exams for these programmes are required to meet Professional Body requirements.  You are welcome to sit these exams on campus, or at an exam centre that is local to you.
