What are the methods of assessment?
In general, assessments are made up of end of unit progress tests which make up 10% of the final module mark, testing your knowledge and understanding of key concepts at the end of each unit. And the end of module assessment which makes up the final 90% of the final module mark. All are completed and submitted online.
You can find out exactly what assessments are required for your module in the Module Overview guide on Moodle.
Currently, there are two Global Online programmes which have formal examinations (i.e. examinations must be held in an exam centre identified by the student and approved by Edinburgh Napier). These programmes are MSc Construction Project Management and MSc Transport Planning & Engineering. Exams for these programmes are required to meet Professional Body requirements. You are welcome to sit these exams on campus, or at an exam centre that is local to you.
